We had a great time at Mt Rushmore hiking the presidential trail and reviewing the history of how the carvings were done.

While on our way to Mount Rushmore we had a layover in Wisconsin where we enjoyed some local cheese and an unusual lunch.  During one of our daily excursions we saw a place, called Buffalo Phil's that claimed to deliver lunch by train.  So we stopped for lunch and it was indeed delivered by a train.  It was fun.

Hello everyone, we finally are in a location with a good internet connection that allows us to add new posts to our blog again.  It is amazing how many locations in the US still do not have good internet access or cell coverage.

Our next extended stop was Niagara Falls New York.  Here we visited the many sites around Niagara Falls on both the US and Canadian sides.

We spent a couple of days in Vermont enjoying the many scenic views.  We also stopped by the Vermont Institute of Natural Science to see their collection of raptor birds they have rescued.  Below are some of our favorite raptors we saw during our visit.

Hello all sorry for the long delay between this post and our last post.

As we began our journey west we went to Sandwich New Hampshire for a sandwich and stopped by lake Winnipisaukee.  Both very nice places with tons of scenic views along the way.

And of course as huge Stephen King fans we did have to go by his house to see if perhaps we might be able to run into him.  Of course he was not available at the time.
