Our next extended stop was Niagara Falls New York.  Here we visited the many sites around Niagara Falls on both the US and Canadian sides.

Rainbow, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe falls from the American side of the falls.

We saw many rainbows.

Whirlpool below the falls.

Horseshoe falls from Canada.

Below Horseshoe falls on Canadian side.

What 600,000 gallons a second looks like going over the falls.

We spent a couple of days in Vermont enjoying the many scenic views.  We also stopped by the Vermont Institute of Natural Science to see their collection of raptor birds they have rescued.  Below are some of our favorite raptors we saw during our visit.

Hello all sorry for the long delay between this post and our last post.

As we began our journey west we went to Sandwich New Hampshire for a sandwich and stopped by lake Winnipisaukee.  Both very nice places with tons of scenic views along the way.

And of course as huge Stephen King fans we did have to go by his house to see if perhaps we might be able to run into him.  Of course he was not available at the time.

While on our lighthouse tour we were also able to spot some local wildlife taking advantage of the nice weather.

While in Maine we also took a cruise tour of lighthouses out of Portland. I don't think I would have liked being stationed at Ram Island to run that light house.

We enjoyed our visit to Maine.  We can't say enough about how good the lobster is here.

Lazy lobster for those who don't like fighting with the shell.

Lobster rolls, found everywhere including at McDonald's.  However, for the very best lobster roll you need to go to the Eagles Nest in Bangor.  Enough lobster in each one for three!

When one just isn't enough buy a second and save on the multi discount.
